Penny N. Haavig

Penny is a born and raised New Yorker, with vaudeville roots. She never thought in her wildest dreams, that someday she would write and publish two novels. Her mother’s amazing story is the reason she moved forward on this adventure. Mental illness took her grandmother’s life when Penny’s mom (Violet) was thirteen. Penny’s Christian faith brings security, contentment and peace.

Penny has two grown daughters and five precious grandchildren that live in different states. She resides in Minnesota with her husband, Tom.

Her hobbies include riding horses, dabbling in art, reading, and of course writing.
